This week, Hendrick Motorsports announced Zilisch would join the team's NASCAR Cup Series operation in the 2028 season as part of a multi-year contract.

During his climb up the racing ladder, Zilisch spent several years competing in the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli. He has seven career wins with the series, including six CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series wins.

While competing in Trans Am, Zilisch was featured in an episode of Road to Glory. The episode demonstrates his bright future in the sport, including his debut in the TA Class for the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli at VIRginia International Raceway in 2023.
