IROC Presented by Chevrolet thrilled fans at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, as Kurt Busch claimed the Unser Family Cup in a photo finish with Jimmie Johnson.

Busch and Johnson battled at the front of the field throughout the contest, swapping the lead back and forth over the course of the 15-minute race. Entering the final corner on the final lap, Busch pulled alongside Johnson, setting up a drag race to the checkered flag.

The two NASCAR champions remained side-by-side all the way to the finish. Busch crossed the finish line just 0.002 seconds ahead of Johnson for the victory.

Saturday's race was another thrilling showcase for IROC, utilizing cars that competed with the International Race of Champions between 1973 and 2006. In April, Busch and Jeff Gordon battled fiercely during the Heritage Invitational at the Ten Tenths Motor Club in Concord, North Carolina, with Busch also winning that fight.

Tomy Drissi won last year's Unser Family Cup in the inaugural running of the event during the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. The 2009 Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli champion finished third in Saturday's race.

IROC Presented by Chevrolet will be back on track in just one week's time in our nation's capital. The series is competing alongside the NTT IndyCar Series as part of the Freedom 250 Grand Prix weekend on the streets of Washington, D.C.

Gordon and Busch are expected to be part of that event, along with Bill Elliott, Bobby Labonte, Rusty Wallace, Tony Kanaan, Dario Franchitti and Helio Castroneves.

IROC will compete in two 20-minute heat races on Saturday, August 22, scheduled at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. ET.
