Jake Bollman, Thomas Annunziata Battling for ARCA Menards Series Championship Friday

A pair of former CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series competitors will battle for the ARCA Menards Series championship on Friday, competing in the season finale at Kansas Speedway.

Jake Bollman leads Thomas Annunziata by 16 points entering Friday's Menards 150 at Kansas. Both drivers compete for Nitro Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series.

Both drivers have competed in the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series during their climb up the racing ladder. Bollman made two starts with the road racing series, while Annunziata is a four-time race winner in TA2 competition.

For both Bollman and Annunziata, that experience, paired with wins and championships in other racing platforms on ovals and road courses, have led them to a shot at an ARCA championship.

Bollman is a former Cook Out Summer Shootout Champion and INEX Legend Car National Championship winner. In 2022, Bollman won the All American 100, the Pro Late Model portion of All American 400 weekend at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.

Annunziata made six ARCA starts prior to this year's full-time campaign, including a 2025 victory with the series at Lime Rock Park. Bollman won at Colorado National Speedway during the 2025 ARCA Menards Series West season.

Annunziata parlayed that road course experience into a second win at Lime Rock Park in July, leading 59 of the race's 68 laps. That marks the only win between the two drivers this season, but both have been remarkably consistent throughout the year.

Neither driver has finished outside the top 10 in an ARCA Menards Series race since the series visited Watkins Glen International in May. Bollman leads the series with 12 top-fives and 18 top-10 finishes, while Annunziata has tallied 10 top-fives and 17 top-10s.

While Bollman has not won this season, he has been close on several occasions. The California native earned runner-up finishes at Daytona International Speedway, Michigan International Speedway, Elko Speedway, the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds and Salem Speedway.

If Bollman continues that top 10 streak, he will clinch the 2026 ARCA Menards Series title, regardless of how Annunziata fares on Friday at Kansas. His only finish outside the top 10 this season came at Talladega Superspeedway, finishing 18th in that event.

The ARCA Menards Series takes the green flag for the Menards 150 at 8 p.m .ET on Friday, September 25. Television coverage of the race will be on FS1.
