Thomas Annunziata won the ARCA Menards Series event at Lime Rock Park on Friday, giving him back-to-back wins with the series at the Connecticut road course.

The Colts Neck, New Jersey native won the Lime Rock Park ARCA 100 for his second career win with the series. The four-time race winner in CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series competition crossed the finish line nearly 10 seconds ahead of Andrew Ranger for the win in the No. 70 Nitro Motorsports Toyota.

While Annunziata is still learning and gaining experience in oval racing as part of a full-time campaign on the ARCA Menards Series, his road course background proved pivotal at Lime Rock Park on Friday.

"I grew up doing this kind of stuff, right? A lot of these guys didn't," said Annunziata during his interview won the FOX Sports broadcast after the win. "I have an advantage when it comes to the road courses."

The win marks the first for Nitro Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series this year, although Annunziata has been knocking on the door of that win. He qualified on the pole at Berlin Raceway, Elko Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway in the last three ARCA Menards Series events and finished second at Berlin.

"Nitro Motorsports, baby. We started getting hot the last couple of races, but we weren't able to execute a victory there. I feel like we've deserved one for a while, so very proud of the whole team.

"Congrats to Nick, Shannon Rursch, Larry, Wyatt, all my guys. We worked hard for this. It means so much to get the first win for Nitro Motorsports in 2026. It's been a while, so I'm happy.

With Friday's win and no finish worse than seventh in his last eight races, Annunziata is now within eight points of Jake Bollman for the lead in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings. As the ARCA season continues into its second half, Annunziata hopes to continue that momentum and contend for the title.

"It's hard. You've just got to keep digging. I struggled in the beginning of the year with the ovals, it's always difficult. I've been picking it up and learning a lot. Three consecutive poles on the ovals, which is cool, but we just don't have quite the racecraft yet, we're getting closer. I know what I'm doing here."

Annunziata will have another opportunity to contend for a Lime Rock Park win this weekend, behind the wheel of the No. 1 TRICON Garage Toyota in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
