Bobby Santos, III is no stranger to victory lane at Berlin Raceway, and he added another win to his tally at the Michigan facility Saturday night with the Must See Racing National Sprint Car Series.

Santos, III jumped to the lead at the start of the 30-lap feature and stayed ahead of Kody Swanson to score the victory in Saturday's contest. The win marks Santos' 15th career Must See Sprints victory, and his third with the series at Berlin.

The Massachusetts driver now holds six Sprint Car victories at Berlin, as he was also a three-time winner with the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprint Series at the track.

"I mean, this place is awesome," said Swanson in victory lane. "Jeff Striegle and his whole crew here work really hard to put on a premier event. We appreciate that, it's awesome to be here with the Must See Series. There was a good field of cars in town tonight, so this one feels good."

Much like at Owosso Speedway last year with the Must See Sprints, and so many times over their respective open-wheel careers, the battle for the win came down to Santos and Swanson. On Saturday night, Santos held the upper hand, crossing the finish line 1.122 seconds ahead of Swanson in the Dick Myers prepared No. 50m.

"Obviously, that 50 car is the best in the country," said Santos. "To get a win versus those guys feels good."

Troy Decaire started on the pole for the feature, coming off a win in TTI Machine Heat Race 1. However, Decaire's machine suffered an engine failure just two laps into the feature, shortly after Santos moved to the lead from the second starting spot.

"After the heat, I felt like we were alright," said Decaire. "It was a little free. We tightened her up. The first lap went okay. We went through three and four again and I thought, oh, she's going to be pretty good. Right in the middle of one and two, it made a little bit of a sound. I looked down and it said oil pressure. Right down the backstretch, it just let go.

"There seems to be a little hole in the oil pan. It sucks, because we had to borrow that motor to begin with. We're going to have to send it off and get it fixed for them. Taylor [Ferns] owns the whole deal, and we've been putting everything we had to get here."

Jason Blonde finished third, followed by Eric Humphries and Jimmy McCune.

The Must See Racing National Sprint Cars take the track next at Owosso Speedway on Saturday, July 11.
