Vores Compact Touring Series Announces 10-Race Schedule for 2026

The Vores Compact Touring Series powered by Mercer County Electric announced its 10-race schedule for the 2026 season.

Entering its 15th season, the Vores Compact Touring Series will once again visit a variety of facilities, from its staple Saturday-night venues to some of the most historic tracks in short-track racing.

The season begins at Shadybowl Speedway on March 29 with the SERVPRO Bowl Classic. Shadybowl has been a fixture on Vores calendar since its second season in 2013, and returns once again for the Bowl Classic in 2026.

Anderson Speedway hosts the Chad Iliff Classic on April 11, bringing the Vores Compacts to the tight quarter-mile in Indiana. The event, named after Iliff after his passing in 2023, will be the first of two races at Anderson for the Vores Compacts.

A newer tradition on the schedule is the series' visit to Ona Speedway, scheduled for May 2. The Freedom Used Autos Bryce Keyser Fly By 40 pits the touring stars against Ona's stout field of local Compact competitors, who have earned more than their fair share of wins in the brief history of the event.

The D&J Sales Big Track Challenge for the Vores Compact Touring Series begins June 14 at Toledo Speedway. The mini-series will crown a champion among Vores competitors at four tracks measuring at least half a mile in distance.

The next two races on the calendar continue the Big Track Challenge. The Vores Compact Touring Series returns to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park for the first time in 2022 (and perhaps the last time in series history, according to officials) on July 11. One week later, the Vores Compacts head to Winchester Speedway as part of the Rich Vogler Classic for the USAC Silver Crown Series.

Angola Motorsports Speedway will once again host one of the biggest events of the year for the Vores Compacts, the Shepherd's Family Auto Group Vores Cup, on August 8. The Stark family has maintained a stronghold on the Vores Cup in recent years, with Kyle and Karter Stark combining for every win at the track since 2020.

The Vores Compacts return to Anderson Speedway on September 19 for the BJ's Body Shop Century 100, a long-distance race for the series. The tour returns to Winchester Speedway during Winchester 400 weekend on October 9 for Jason Dietsch Trailer Sales Championship Night.

While the Vores Compact Touring Series champion will be crowned at Winchester, the D&J Sales Big Track Challenge concludes on November 7 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. The event takes place during All American 400 weekend in Music City.
