Winchester Speedway released its 2026 season schedule on Wednesday, including marquee motorsports events as well as new special attractions.
The year starts with a pair of new events at the historic Indiana half-mile. The first event on April 19 is the Demolition Derby Destruction on the High Banks. On May 16, the American Big Rig Racing Series heads to Winchester Speedway, joined by Thunder Roadsters and the Midwest Vintage Race Car Club.
The 500 Sprint Car Tour returns for the Tom Bigelow Showdown on June 28. The CRA Vores Welding & Steel late Model Sportsman Series Powered by JEGS and Thunder Roadsters will also be part of that event.
On Sunay, July 19, the USAC Silver Crown Series heads to Winchester for the Rich Vogler Classic, following the Kings Royal at Eldora Raceway on July 17-18. The event also serves as the Old Timers 50th Anniversary, and includes the Vores Compact Touring Series for their first visit to Winchester in 2026.
The Northeast Ohio Dukes Stunt Show visits Winchester on Saturday, August 1. This is another new addition to the Winchester schedule, Two weeks later, the Monster Truck Throwdown comes to Winchester on August 14-15. The month of August wraps up with the Motor Madness Car Show on August 30.
Labor Day Weekend once again means it’s time for the World Stock Car Festival at Winchester Speedway. The event is scheduled for September 5-7.The CRA Sportsman and Street Stocks, Mid-Am Racing Series, and Great Lakes Truck Tour will all visit Winchester for the event.
The World Stock Car Festival will also include Thunder Roadsters, as well Modifieds and Thunder Cars from nearby Shadybowl Speedway. Once again, Winchester is working with neighboring tracks to provide a better product for racers and fans alike.
Lastly, the season concludes with the 55th Winchester 400 presented by Vores Welding and Steel on October 8-11. The ASA STARS National Tour will once again headline the showcase event, joined by the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, CRA Street Stocks and Sportsman, Vores Compact Touring Series, Modifieds, Thunder Cars and Thunder Roadsters.
For fans looking to get their own taste of speed, the Jeffrey Earnhardt Driving Experience makes two visits to Winchester. The Jeffrey Earnhardt Driving Experience will give fans a chance to experience the World’s Fastest Half-Mile on June 20 and September 19.
