Katherine Legge Set for Doubleheader Brickyard 400 Weekend at Indianapolis

Katherine Legge will return to Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 26-27, this time to compete in the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series events at the iconic 2.5-mile speedway during Brickyard 400 weekend.

She will once again compete with Live Fast Motorsports, with support from Desnuda Organic Tequila and Droplight.

She has competed in 10 stock car races thus far during the 2025 season, including a top-20 finish in the NASCAR Cup Series Grant Park 165 at the Chicago Street Course.

After competing in the Indianapolis 500 in 2023 and 2024, Legge was unable to partake in the crown jewel event this year. Now, she’ll have the chance to compete at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

“It’s always an honor to drive at Indy, but having the chance to compete in both the Cup and Xfinity races thanks to Desnuda and Droplight is going to be epic,” said Legge. “After racing in the Indy 500 in ’23 and ’24, I definitely felt a void not being there this year. But adding races to my schedule is exactly what I’ve been working toward—competing in as many events as possible and logging as many laps as I can.

Legge will become the second woman to compete in the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, joining Danica Patrick. Patrick raced in the Brickyard 400 five times, with a best finish of 11th in 2017.

The Brickyard 400 is scheduled for Sunday, July 27 at 2 p.m. ET. Coverage of the event will be on TNT Sports, IMS Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series event will take place on Saturday, July 26, with coverage at 4:30 p.m. ET on The CW Network.
