The NASCAR Cup Series Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway saw a new Xfinity Fastest Lap Award winner in Justin Haley, while Shane van Gisbergen claimed the award for a second straight week in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Haley earned his first Xfinity Fastest Lap Award of the season, with a time of 75.988 seconds around the 1.99-mile road course. He set his fastest lap on the 95th lap of the race en route to a 15th-place finish.

Now, all three Spire Motorsports drivers have won at least one Xfinity Fastest Lap Award in 2025. Michael McDowell has three Fastest Laps (Daytona, Phoenix, Talladega), while Carson Hocevar claimed the award at Texas Motor Speedway.

Shane van Gisbergen won Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350 in dominant fashion, leading 97 of the 110 laps. Only a second-place finish to Ross Chastain in the first stage and missing out on the Xfinity Fastest Lap prevented him from a perfect 61-point outing on Sunday.

However, van Gisbergen claimed the Xfinity Fastest Lap award on Saturday during the Pit Boss/FoodMaxx 250 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Sonoma.

The New Zealand native finished second to Connor Zilisch in Saturday's Xfinity Series event, but set the fastest lap of the race on lap 32. Van Gisbergen lapped the track in 76.860 seconds while leading the race.

As a NASCAR Cup Series competitor, van Gisbergen did not receive the bonus point towards the NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers' standings for setting the Xfinity Fastest Lap

The NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Cup Series return to action next weekend at Dover Motor Speedway. The BetRivers 200 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series takes the track on Saturday, July 19, while the NASCAR Cup Series races in the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 on Sunday, July 20.
