Joe Gibbs Racing, Bob's Discount Furniture Agree to Multi-Year Partnership

Joe Gibbs Racing announced on Wednesday that the organization has reached a multi-year agreement with Bob's Discount Furniture to sponsor Denny Hamlin's No. 11 Toyota Camry XSE in the NASCAR Cup Series.

The partnership will debut at Iowa Speedway on August 3. This is the first venture into motorsports sponsorship for Bob's Discount Furniture, which operates nearly 200 stores across 26 states.

Bob's is opening 20 new locations in 2025, including six locations in North Carolina. The partnership with Joe Gibbs Racing is part of an ongoing effort to expand its footprint within the Southeast.

Joe Gibbs, owner of Joe Gibbs Racing and Hamlin are scheduled to attend the grand opening of the Bob's Discount Furniture location in Winston-Salem on Thursday, July 17 at 1 p.m. ET. The grand opening event will include a VIP autograph session with Hamlin, giveaways, live entertainment and the first chance for fans to see the No. 11 Bob's Discount Furniture Toyota before it competes at Iowa Speedway.

“We are thrilled to partner with Bob’s Discount Furniture,” said Gibbs. “Racing every weekend all across the country, we will have the opportunity to promote their great furniture at everyday low prices to race fans everywhere. We are especially excited to have the opportunity to celebrate their expansion into North Carolina at the grand opening event at their new Winston-Salem store on July 17th.”

Bob's Discount Furniture will serve as the Official Furniture Retailer for Hamlin and the No. 11 NASCAR Cup Series team, with multiple primary sponsor races and full-season associate partner placement over the course of the partnership.

The partnership kicks off immediately, with plans for promotional events, community outreach initiatives and in-store experiences.

Hamlin is competing in his 20th full-time season in the NASCAR Cup Series. Following a win in the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway, he has three victories this season and 57 in his Cup Series career.

“We’re excited to welcome Bob’s to our No. 11 team and to have their new locations opening up close to home,” said Hamlin. “If you look at their marketing and social media, they do a great job being creative, so we’re really looking forward to what kind of ideas we can work on together both on and off the racetrack.”

The Bob's Discount Furniture No. 11 is scheduled to debut in the Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol at Iowa Speedway on Sunday, August 3. The green flag waves at 3:30 p.m. ET, with coverage on USA, the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
