Spencer Davis added another Late Model win on the year, scoring the victory in the second round of the Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series at Five Flags Speedway.

Davis took the lead from Jaxon Bishop on lap seven and held on to the top spot the rest of the way for his first career Late Model win at the home of the Snowball Derby. It's a big win for the driver who also has victories in the Pro All Stars Series Easter Bunny 150 and during the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway in 2025.

"Man, we've been working hard the last year and a half on our Pro [Late Model] program," said Davis in victory lane. "Man, when we got Ben Kennedy Racing with me and my guys, they meshed with our guys real well.

"This car is good. It's batting about .650 right now. Every time it goes out, it wins or finishes second."

While Davis dominated the 100-lap feature, he felt the heat late in the race from Jake Finch. Finch won the season opener for the Allen Turner Pro Late Models and was hungry for another win, but Davis held him off and was thankful for a green-flag run to the finish.

"I saw that 18 coming closer and closer those last 10 laps. The race just played out. I've been here before when I've run twin 50s here. It came down to a green-white-checkered. I'm glad I wasn't on the receiving end of it this time and it stayed green."

While Davis celebrated the win, Finch lamented his runner-up finish. He's been no stranger to victory lane this year, including Pro Late Model wins at Five Flags, Montgomery Motor Speedway and South Alabama Speedway. However, he badly wanted another win on Friday night.

"Yeah, it sucks," said Finch. "It's not very fun to finish second. I'd probably rather do a lot of other things than finish second. Bad night for our 18 group, and got to finish second.

"It is what it is. Just hope to regroup and keep our speed up front and just stay up front. I would have loved to make it five on the year, but we'll have to wait until next week.

"People don't like losers, so I try not to be one. Every once in a while, you have to, so it's part of it. Learn from tonight, and we'll take this and go to the next one."

Isaac Kitzmiller rounded out the podium in the Rackley W.A.R. No. 25 entry. The ARCA Menards Series competitor has been steadily putting together a portfolio of strong Late Model finishes as well, and Friday's third-place effort at Five Flags.

"I couldn't do it without this Rackley W.A.R. team. Mark was on the car this week. We really were missing Jace, still praying for him. Hopefully he has a fast recovery. I can't thank everyone that works on this car and everybody that gets me to the racetrack."

Michael Hinde finished fourth as a last-minute addition to the entry list for the Pro Late Model contest, while Dustin Smith rounded out the top five.

Five Flags Speedway will be back in action in two weeks on Friday, June 27. The Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series will take center stage on that evening with the third race on the Road to the Snowball Derby for 2025. The next Road to the Snowflake 100 event is scheduled for August 29 at Five Flags.
