Ty Fredrickson, the 2024 Kulwicki Driver Development Program champion, will make his ARCA Menards Series debut in the Venturini Motorsports No. 25 Toyota Camry at Elko Speedway on June 21.
Fredrickson claimed the prestigious Kulwicki Cup championship one year ago as part of an impressive season. The Webster, Minnesota native won 12 Super Late Model races, including the Icebreaker 100 at Dells Raceway Park and the Trickle 99 at LaCrosse Speedway during Oktoberfest Race Weekend.
The son of two-time ASA Midwest Tour champion Dan Fredrickson, Ty Fredrickson was one of seven finalists selected by the Kulwicki Driver Development Program in 2024. Each year, the program’s finalists represent the 1992 NASCAR Cup Series champion on and off the track, sharing his legacy while battling for the Kulwicki Cup.
Fredrickson was part of a hotly contested battle for the Kulwicki Cup in 2024, finishing ahead of Derek Gluchacki and Levon Van Der Geest in the final standings. He joined a list of past Kulwicki Cup champions that includes 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Ty Fredrickson, Alex Prunty, Cody Haskins, Brett Yackey, Jeremy Doss, Luke Fenhaus, Dylan Zampa and Max Cookson.
Now, he’ll make his ARCA debut during the series’ visit to his home state of Minnesota on June 21.
“To make my ARCA Series debut with Venturini Motorsports at Elko Speedway—just down the road from where I grew up—is something special,” said Fredrickson. “I can’t thank everyone enough who helped get me here. We’re ready to make some noise.”
Fredrickson is competing on the ASA STARS National Tour in 2025 while also competing in other Super Late Model events. Last Saturday, he scored a victory in the Alive for 5 Series at Dells Raceway Park.
To commemorate Fredrickson’s ARCA debut at his home track, the first 200 children under the age of 12 in attendance will receive a free Ty Fredrickson t-shirt, courtesy of Rack Shack BBQ.
Several of Fredrickson's partners are part of the ARCA Menards Series appearance, including Fredrickson Masonry, Otte Excavating, CFG Retirement, Buck Wild Racing Products, Nortec Equipment, Herman’s Landscape Supplies, Fredrickson Farms, Rack Shack BBQ, Sorem Livestock Hauling, Jerin Trucking, Simpson Race Products, Motorstate Distributing, Toyota GAZOO Racing, and Venturini Motorsports.
The maiden ARCA start takes place with one of the best teams historically in the ARCA Menards Series. Venturini Motorsports boasts 108 victories in the series, with owner and driver championships won with Christian Eckes, Sean Hingorani and Jesse Love.
The ARCA Menards Series Shore Lunch 250 presented by Dutch Boy takes place on Saturday, June 21. The race is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. CT/9 p.m. ET, with coverage of FS2.
