Kulwicki Spotlight: Gluchacki Waving KDDP Banner for Second Season
Jun 10, 2025
A full weekend of grassroots racing excitement is set for Friday and Saturday, June 27-28 at the historic Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, as the originally scheduled Saturday race day has grown into a two-day racing doubleheader thanks to the rescheduling of the June 6 rainout.
Friday, June 27 will now feature the return of Friday Night Lights, with quarter-mile racing divisions making up the night’s lineup. Fans will enjoy action from the Paschall Heating & Air Limited Late Models, US Air Force Legends, CP Race Wear Bandoleros, Pest Doctor Front Runners, and Pure Stocks. This event, originally planned for June 6 but washed out due to rain, gives competitors and fans a second chance at a thrilling night under the Friday lights. Grandstand admission for Friday is just $10, with kids 11 and under FREE.
Saturday, June 28 sees the spotlight shift to the big track as the Pro Late Models return for a 100-lap feature event, continuing the quest for the 2025 championship. Joining them on the 5/8-mile will be the Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers Super Trucks and the Nashville Street Stocks. Meanwhile, several of the quarter-mile divisions will be back for their second night of action, completing a true double-duty weekend.
Before Saturday’s racing, Pro Late Model teams will have an optional practice session Friday afternoon, giving them extra track time to prepare for Saturday’s headline event.
