Andrew Buff Hopes to Repeat Winning Performance at Lake View
Feb 1, 2022
UPDATE: Friday's portion of the South of the Border Showdown has been canceled due to inclement weather. The South of the Border Showdown will continue on Saturday.
The DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds head south to the red clay of Lake View Motor Speedway (SC) for three nights of racing this weekend in the South of the Border Showdown.
While we encourage fans to attend the event in-person and support Lake View's Second Annual South of the Border Showdown, we understand not everyone can make the trip, especially fans of many of the DIRTcar Sportsman Modified competitors based in the Northeast who will be making the trip.
Thus, all three nights of racing from the South of the Border Showdown will be broadcasted live on Racing America. All you need to watch is a subscription to Racing America powered by Speed51.TV.
Each night's broadcast will qualifying, heat races and features from the DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds. Throughout the weekend, you'll also see racing from other divisions competing at Lake View over the course of the three-night event.
More than 30 teams have entered the event, with more than $27,000 being paid out across the three evenings. Thursday's 25-lap main event will pay $1,000 to win, with Friday paying $2,000 to win a 35-lap feature and the event concluding with a 50-lap, $3,000 to win feature.
