Jared Odrick battles for a second CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series Pro/Am Driver's Championship this weekend at Circuit of The Americas (COTA). He discussed the championship fight and his 2026 season in an interview with Allen Bestwick.

Last year, Odrick won four races to claim the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series Pro/Am Driver's Championship. He will have the opportunity to make it back-to-back titles this weekend at Garage Living Racing America @ COTA, November 5-8.

Odrick has increased his win total this season, with six victories in the first 11 rounds of the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series season. However, the season has also come with its share of adversity and heartache.

“It’s been a checkers-or-wrecker situation," said Odrick. "This year, it’s been either the top step or nowhere near it.”

Odrick enters the COTA weekend trailing Cale Phillips by 19 points. While the title fight is far from a foregone conclusion, Odrick is entering the weekend believing he is capable of securing the championship.

“Preparing for a championship, I mean, you don’t want to write the speech too early," Odrick said. "You don’t want to count your chickens before they hatch. At the same time, you have to assume the position. I think that’s what we’ve done here, between myself, my wife and the team.”

Odrick has shown tremendous development and growth in his racing career, making the jump to motorsports after playing for seven years in the National Football League. While racing has helped fulfill the desire to compete after the end of his football career, that competitive spirit also pushes Odrick to continue to improve.

“The itch is being scratched," said Odrick. "The further you walk down the path, the itchier you get. You start to theorize and you start to hypothesize about the future. Right now, everybody is talking about 2027 and what that holds. You start thinking about all the things that you want to do that you haven’t done, and how to get them done.”

Garage Living presents Racing America @ COTA on November 6-8, including the season finale for the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series. Live coverage will be available on RacingAmerica.TV and @TheTransAmSeries on YouTube.
