Helio Meza's streak of perfection in the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series continued on Sunday afternoon at Sonoma Raceway.

The Texas driver scored the victory in the second leg of the JM Environmental Trans Am Doubleheader weekend for the CUBE 3 TA2 Series. The win gives Meza four consecutive wins in the first four races of the 2026 season, and a perfect five-for-five run dating back to the 2025 season finale at Circuit of The Americas.

While Meza's sensational start to his TA2 career has put many people on notice, he gives plenty of credit to his TeamSLR team, considering the partnership a match made in heaven.

"Five wins in a row, in my rookie season, five-for-five," said Meza after Sunday's win. "I couldn't do it without my amazing team, TeamSLR. I did a test with them at the end of last year at Virginia [International Raceway]. When I first got to meet them, they were super professional. They were like a family, but they all worked hard and they're perfectionists, just like I am.

"I'm always trying to chase those little details, whether it's trying to get better as a driver, with media, whateever it may be. They're always working their butts off to make the cars fast. When you put a combo like that together and, obviously, Alon here as well has had a lot of history and good results. We're just a powerhouse of a team, and it shows."

Meza has been nothing short of dominant in the 2026 season, starting from pole position and winning each of the first four races. He won the season opener at Sebring International Raceway and the second round at Road Atlanta before sweeping the doubleheader at Sonoma this weekend.

Meza's TeamSLR teammate, Alon Day, finished second on both Saturday and Sunday after a third-place finish at Road Atlanta. A couple of late-race cautions prevented a TeamSLR sweep of the podium for the second straight day, but Day hopes he can shake up the order of the podium when the series goes to Lime Rock Park in May.

"It was a pretty clean race until the final laps," Day said. "TeamSLR one-two. Unfortunately, it could have been third, but I'm very, very happy. I'm getting tired of standing on second place. Hopefully, I will be one step higher next time."

Noah Harmon bounced back from a 13th-place finish on Saturday to bring home a third-place effort on Sunday. It is Harmon's second podium finish of the season, but the doubleheader weekend made for extra effort ahead of Sunday's race.

"I've got to thank all the Silver Hare Racing guys," said Harmon. "They stayed late last night to fix my motor after I almost blew it up yesterday, so a big thank you to all those guys.

"This has been one of our tougher weekends. We just had to fight it all the way through. That race, the car was amazing. Thanks to all those guys."

Jared Odrick scored the victory in the Pro/Am classification with a seventh-place overall finish. With three Pro/Am wins in the first four rounds, Odrick has sights set on his first career overall podium finish.

"We're slowly trying to creep up there to the pointier end of the field," said Odrick. "That's a goal in the back of our mind, but other people keep saying it for us, so I guess the cat's out of the bag. That's what we're aiming to do. Doug Winston's been trying to kick me out for about a year now, but we're going back to his home track, back in Lime Rock next. That's going to be difficult. I haven't had a good finish there yet, but that's what we're aiming for."

Graham Jacobson battled to an 18th place finish on Saturday after losing his brake fans early in the race around the twisting 2.52-mile Sonoma circuit. That placed him deep in the field to start Sunday's race, but he battled to a ninth-place overall finish and the top step of the podium in the TA2 Western Championship.

"We struggled all weekend, really," Jacobson said. "Yesterday wasn't the best. We lost our brake fans yesterday on lap two, so we made some last minute changes this morning and just kind of went out there and drove.

"I just picked people off one at a time. I'd be lying if I said the cautions at the end didn't save my race. Overall, a really great weekend from all the crew at SBM, and huge thank you to them."

The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli and CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series will celebrate Memorial Day weekend at Lime Rock Park on May 21-23.
