The final event of the 2025 racing season at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway delivered a full afternoon of excitement as six champions were crowned on Quarter Mile Championship Saturday. With tight point battles, dramatic moments, and dominant performances, the 1/4-mile proved once again why it is one of the most intense bullrings in short-track racing.

Dedicated race fans watched as the CP Race Wear Bandoleros, Pest Doctor Front Runners, US Air Force Legends (Pro/Masters, Semi Pro, Young Lions), Pure Stocks, and Paschall Heating & Air Limited Late Models took center stage for their final feature events of 2025

Defending two-time point champion Landon Thrasher capped off a flawless 2025 season in the CP Race Wear Bandolero division. The Murfreesboro driver grabbed the lead early in the 15-lap feature and never looked back, scoring his fifth win in five starts and securing his third straight Bandolero championship.

Lucas Harrison finished second, followed by Matthew Leslie-Kubat, Brantley Emberton, and Isaac Brown inside the top five.

The most dramatic championship battle of the day came in the Pest Doctor Front Runners, where two-time defending champion Ray Gann entered with a two-point advantage over Randall Waterston. Gann led the early stages before Waterston made a move to the inside on lap 15. Contact between the two sent Gann up the track, costing him several positions.

Matt Hamlett capitalized and went on to win the race, while Waterston recovered to finish second—enough to secure the 2025 Front Runner championship. Tony Gann, Brett Lee, and Ray Gann rounded out the top five.

Entering the finale with a 22-point lead, Michael Crafton appeared well-positioned for the US Air Force Pro/Masters Legends championship. But early in the event, Crafton and challenger Oliver Cordell slammed the turn-three wall in a major incident while running first and second.

The crash handed the lead to veteran Kevin Rollins, who drove to the feature win. Crafton, despite the crash, still accumulated enough points to clinch the 2025 Pro/Masters championship.

Wayne Grubb, Kyle Fletcher, Dylan Fetcho, and Tyler Cordell completed the top five.

With a 20+ point lead entering the night, Dylan Faulkner started on the pole by virtue of the invert and controlled the first half of the race through multiple cautions. Once the field settled, Faulkner pulled away and held strong through a pair of late restarts to take both the feature win and the 2025 Semi Pro championship.

Bradley Swift finished second but was disqualified in post race tech. Galen Clark finished second followed by Garrett Dies and Neal Dulin.

In the Young Lion subclass, Landon Thrasher was the top finisher, securing the Young Lion championship—his second title of the day after also winning the Bandolero crown.

In the 20-lap Pure Stock event, Chase Cohron of Bowling Green, KY grabbed the lead on lap one and never looked back, cruising to a convincing victory.

Meanwhile, all eyes were on Phillip McCord, who held a 27-point lead entering the night. McCord managed a clean and steady run, finishing fifth and officially locking up the 2025 Pure Stock championship.

Cohron was trailed by Matt Barnes, John Bradley, Joseph West, and McCord inside the top five.

The tightest points race entering the finale belonged to the Paschall Heating & Air Limited Late Models, where Nicholas Formosa carried a one-point edge over Johnathan Dishman. Formosa gained a couple of points by setting fast time, but the qualifying draw put Dishman on the pole for the 30-lap feature.

Dishman led the entire race, while Formosa attempted an outside-lane restart midway through but was shuffled back in traffic. Dishman drove to the feature victory and secured another Limited Late Model championship.

Jeff Belt, Carl Porter, Jr., Buddy Moody, and James Jordan completed the top five.

Quarter Mile Championship Saturday served as a fitting finale to an exciting 2025 season at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. Six champions were crowned, multiple storylines delivered dramatic twists, and fans were treated to a full afternoon of grassroots racing at its finest.

The team at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway thanks all drivers, teams, partners, officials, and fans for an outstanding 2025 season. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for news and updates regarding the 2026 schedule and upcoming events.
