Brad Keselowski earned his first Xfinity Fastest Lap award of the season during the Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol at Iowa Speedway, while Ross Chastain claimed the award in the NASCAR Xfinity Series HyVee Perks 250.

Keselowski clocked the fastest lap of Sunday's Iowa Corn 350 on lap 197 while leading the NASCAR Cup Series event, with a time of 23.748 seconds. It was one of 68 laps Keselowski led at Iowa, the most laps he has led in a race this year.

Keselowski finished third, while William Byron took the victory in the event. While Keselowski earned a bonus point with the Xfinity Fastest Lap, he is currently 19th in NASCAR Cup Series points and 121 points outside of the Playoffs. Therefore, a win will probably be necessary for Keselowski to punch his ticket to the postseason.

Another NASCAR Cup Series competitor, Ross Chastain, earned the Xfinity Fastest Lap during the NASCAR Xfinity Series HyVee Perks 250. Driving the No. 9 for JR Motorsports, Chastain was fastest on lap 150 with a time of 24.409 seconds.

As a full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver, Chastain did not earn the Xfinity Fastest Lap bonus point in the Xfinity Series driver standings. It is the third time in the last five races that the No. 9 JR Motorsports team has claimed the Xfinity Fastest Lap Award, as Shane Van Gisbergen had the honor at both Chicago and Sonoma.

All three of NASCAR's National Series will be at Watkins Glen International this weekend on August 8-10. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races at 5 p.m. ET on Friday, with the NASCAR Xfinity Series taking the track on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET

The weekend concludes with the Go Bowling at The Glen on Sunday, August 10 at 2 p.m. ET. Coverage of the event will be on USA Network, the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
