Luke Baldwin, the 19-year-old son of veteran NASCAR Cup Series crew chief Tommy Baldwin Jr., will run a 12-race NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule with Team Reaume in 2026, driving the No. 2 Ford F-150.
Luke Baldwin, the son of veteran NASCAR Cup Series crew chief Tommy Baldwin Jr. and grandson of Modified legend Tom Baldwin Sr., is a blossoming young racer who has begun to dip his toes in the NASCAR National Series ranks. On Tuesday, the 19-year-old Baldwin announced a 12-race NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule with Team Reaume for the 2026 season. Baldwin will pilot the team's No. 2 Ford F-150 in the 12-race stint.
Baldwin, who is the two-time and defending SMART Modified Tour champion and also won multiple events in the CARS Tour Late Model Tour last season, which helped Rick Ware Racing take home the championship in that division, is antsy for his new opportunity with Team Reaume, which kicks off at Rockingham Speedway on April 3.
“I am super excited for this new venture with Team Reaume," Baldwin said in a team press release. "Josh’s ambition and hard-working attitude throughout this whole process have been extremely appealing to me, and I can’t wait to be a part of it. We have a lot of things coming together, including more technical support and great people coming in, which makes me super optimistic. I’m very thankful for Josh and everybody at Team Reaume for the opportunity."
Baldwin, who recently signed with Clear 28 Agency, will remain with Ford Racing, where he began his NASCAR National Series development in a part-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule with ThorSport Racing last season.
“I’m extremely thankful for the opportunity to continue my development with Ford Racing. Being part of a manufacturer that has meant so much to this sport is something I don’t take lightly. I’m excited to get back to work, stay focused on my craft, and continue pushing myself every day to become the best driver I can be,” said Baldwin.
For Team Reaume, which has continually taken steps each and every season to produce a more competitive team in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, obtaining the driving services of an emerging talent like Baldwin is a big deal. Team owner Josh Reaume says his relationship with the Baldwin family is longstanding, and makes the announcement even more special for him, personally.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Luke to Team Reaume,” said Reaume. “His performance in modified racing has been nothing short of impressive, and his quick adaptation to the Truck Series shows he has the talent and mindset to compete with the best. I’ve known the Baldwin family for a long time, and after working with Tommy Baldwin on the Team Hezeberg Cup program that qualified for the Daytona 500 in 2022, this feels like a special moment to now work with Luke. We’re excited to support his continued development and look forward to what he’ll accomplish this season.”
The team did not announce any primary sponsorship details surrounding Baldwin's entry, but they did disclose the driver's full 12-race schedule in a social media graphic on Tuesday.
In five starts behind the wheel of the No. 66 ThorSport Racing Ford F-150 in 2025, Baldwin secured a best finish of 12th, which he achieved at Pocono Raceway, where he made his fourth career start. Baldwin also collected a 13th-place finish at North Wilkesboro Speedway, and was running well inside the top-15 during his debut at Martinsville Speedway, before being swept up in incidents down the stretch in that event.
