A star-studded field is expected for the race. Kevin and Keelan Harvick continue the Harvick Cup fueled by Hunt Brothers Pizza, with father and son taking part in the race. Keelan is coming off a victory with the zMAX CARS Tour at Hickory Motor Speedway.
They'll be facing a stout field of Late Model winners and champions. Among the announced entries are defending Allen Turner Snowflake 100 winner Stephen Nasse, 2023 NASCAR Canada Series champion Treyten Lapcevich and defending Masters of the Pros winner Dawson Sutton.
Kyle Crump will also put his JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour winning streak on the line on Wednesday. He has won in his last five starts with the series dating back to 2023, including a victory in the Big O Classic at Owosso Speedway in his last appearance.
The Masters of the Pros began in 2013 at Lebanon I-44 Speedway in Missouri as a 144-lap race. Chase Elliott won the inaugural running of the Masters of the Pros that year. One year later, Anderson Bowen won the 2014 edition of the event.
Another future NASCAR Cup Series competitor, John Hunter Nemechek, went back-to-back in the Masters of the Pros 144 in 2015 and 2016. Cole Williams won the last Masters of the Pros at Lebanon I-44 in 2017.
Over the next three years, the Green Jacket was awarded at three different tracks. Bubba Pollard joined John Hunter Nemechek as a back-to-back winner, with victories at Birch Run Raceway in 2018 and Memphis International Raceway in 2019. In 2020, Matthew Craig donned the Green Jacket after winning at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
Nashville hosted the Masters of the Pros from 2020 until 2022. After Craig's win in 2020, Willie Allen won in both 2021 and 2022 on home turf.
In 2023, the event moved to its current location, Owosso Speedway. A pair of young guns have won the last two runnings, with Chase Burda winning in 2023 and Dawson Sutton winning in 2024.
