The 2026 edition of the Rogers-Dabbs Pro Late Model Challenge kicks off on Friday as part of the Road to the Snowflake at Five Flags Speedway.
In a change for 2026, the Rogers-Dabbs Pro Late Model Challenge visits five different tracks this year during existing Pro Late Model nights for the venues. After the conclusion of the five-race series, the points champion will be rewarded with a $5,000 prize. There will also be reward money for drivers finishing throughout the top five in the points standings.
Five Flags Speedway opens the 2026 challenge with Friday's 100-lap feature. The Pro Late Model event is also the second race of the Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series in 2026, as drivers prepare for the Allen Turner Hyundai Snowflake 125 in December.
The new addition to the Rogers-Dabbs Pro Late Model Challenge is Cordele Motor Speedway. On June 20, the Watermelon National Classic will double as the second round for the Pro Late Model Challenge.
The series returns to Mobile International Speedway, this time on July 11 for the third race of the series. After that, the Rogers-Dabbs Pro Late Model Challenge goes to Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on August 8 as part of Bass Tire Family Night.
The Pro Late Model Challenge concludes on September 19 at Montgomery Motor Speedway. The Fall Brawl 100 will crown a new Rogers-Dabbs Pro Late Model Challenge champion and set the table for the Alabama State Asphalt Championship at Montgomery on October 17.
The Rogers-Dabbs Pro Late Model Challenge, contested under the Southern Pro Series banner, debuted in 2024. A pair of Alabama natives have won the championship in its first two years, with John Bolen claiming the title in 2024 and Dustin Smith winning the Pro Late Model Challenge in 2025.
The Pro Late Models will be joined on Friday at Five Flags by the Modifieds of Mayhem Tour, Pro Trucks and Crown Stocks. Racing begins at 8 p.m. CT/9 p.m. ET at the famed Pensacola half-mile.
