Sep 23, 2023
Hunter Robbins set fast time in qualifying for Friday's American Welding Society 100 for the ASA Southern Super Series, clocking in at 16.491 seconds at Five Flags Speedway.
With that, Robbins earned his fifth career ASA Southern Super Series pole award. Robbins was the series' champion in 2022.
Jackson Boone was second fastest, followed by Michael Atwell, Stephen Nasse and Bubba Pollard. Matt Craig, who was seventh-fastest, will lead the field to green after the top-eight redraw. Pollard will join Craig on the front row.
Friday's race is part of a Super Late Model doubleheader at Five Flags Speedway to crown champions for both the ASA Southern Super Series and the Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series. Fans unable to attend Friday's racing program at Five Flags Speedway can watch live on Racing America.
