After a chaotic race and a dramatic finish, Joseph Prescott picked up the $20,000 win in the Keith Morse Memorial 150 at Riverside Speedway.

Prescott held off Jamie Swallow in a fierce battle to the checkered flag at the Groveton, New Hampshire facility, claiming a big money win that left Prescott at a loss for words.

"Let's go, baby! Whoa! Holy crap, I don't even know what to say, man," Prescott said in victory lane. "I'm speechless."

Prescott also thanked Swallow for a clean battle at the end of the race, as the two drivers raced side by side but didn't take each other out of contention.

"First off, thank you, Jamie," said Prescott. "He is a class act. Everybody here. I mean, it was a bit of a rough race. I'm just in shock, man. I haven't been doing this that long. This is just awesome."

It was also a special win thanks to the car Prescott drove to victory. Carrying a tribute scheme in honor of Prescott's grandfather, Doug Hoar, Prescott was able to park the tribute scheme in victory lane.

"This is my dad's car. He hasn't even raced it yet, he let me come take it out tonight. In honor of my grandfather who passed away, this is his old Pro Stock scheme. I know you know this means a lot. I'm happy for everybody. Thank you call for coming out."

Swallow settled for second, grateful for a strong showing. However, it was a bittersweet feeling, so close to a $20,000 win.

He also couldn't help but wonder what more he could have done to fight for the win, between a flat tire that set him back early and believing there was one more lap left in the race at the end.

"Congratulations to them," said Swallow. "To be honest with you, I thought there was another lap. I wouldn't have wrecked him by any means, but I probably would have tried a little harder. It's unfortunate for us, but congratulations to them.

"We got a flat tire late in the race. That took us out of it. We got back up here. It's bittersweet. I want to be happy, but I'm not. I'm really proud of the crew. I'm really proud of my sponsors and everyone coming out tonight."

Jeff Marshall rounded out the podium, another driver who had to overcome early adversity after an incident during the opening laps.

"I thought we were done right as soon as we got into Ryan Olsen," said Marshall. "We hit hard and destroyed that side of the car, but the crew said the tires and everything looked good, so we kept going."

Riverside Speedway races again next Friday, June 20. Headlined by a Truck Enduro, Late Models, Maddogs, Lightning 4s, Cyclones and Daredevils will also be in action.
