25th Annual Summer Sizzler Rescheduled to August 29

The 25th Annual Summer Sizzler will have to wait a few more weeks.

New Paris Speedway and Reveal the Hammer Outlaw Late Model officials announced Friday morning that this Saturday's Summer Sizzler has been rescheduled to August 29. The postponement comes with a poor weather forecast for Saturday.

"Out of respect for everyone and the forecast remaining at 90 percent chance of rain and storms, we have decided it is in the best interest for all to reschedule this prestigious event to August 29, 2026," reads New Paris Speedway's announcement on Facebook.

New Paris Speedway will be working with MyRacePass and Pit Pay to transfer pre-purchased tickets and pit passes for Saturday to the new race date of August 29.

The Summer Sizzler began in 2002 and has become one of the crown jewels of Outlaw Late Model racing. It has been contested every year since 2002, and officials hope to continue that tradition on Saturday, August 29.

With the rescheduling, the Summer Sizzler 100 remains the next event on the Reveal the Hammer Outlaw Late Models schedule.
