Drivers from across North America are expected to make their way to Maine’s largest sporting venue in October as they compete for a nearly $200,000 total purse. Not only can a single driver possibly take home $100,000 but the opportunity is there with the new race format for several drivers to collect a career best payday.

The PASS 400 will be split into three segments; the first two segments being 100 laps each, while the third segment will be 200 laps long. Each segment winner will collect $25,000 for winning that portion of the race. The starting grid for the first 100 lapper will be set by heat races on Saturday, October 18, while segments two and three will lineup with a full field inversion of the finish order from the previous segment. Points will be awarded at the end of each segment with first place receiving one points, second place two points, etc. The driver with the lowest points total at the end of the final segment will be the overall winner and will receive $25,000 for the overall win. But every driver competing will receive prize money based on their finish in the overall standings with second place getting $12,000 for their efforts all the way down to the 36th place finisher who will receive $1,500. Full PASS North Super Late Model points will also be awarded for each individual segment.

Provisionals will be available for the highest non-qualifying drivers from the United Auto Racing Alliance (UARA) National Super Late Models, Speedway 660s August 31, a 250-lap event, the September 20 PASS event at White Mountain, and the rescheduled PASS race at Oxford Plains from September 7.

In addition to the PASS 400 for the PASS Super Late Models, the American Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Models will compete in the Pine Tree State 125, plus $5,000 to win in the Limited/Street Stock Challenge, $3,000 to win in the Thunder Stock Challenge, and $2,000 to win in the ACT Flying Tiger Tri-State Challenge.
