Must See Racing Doubleheader at Montgomery, Five Flags Cancelled

Must See Racing officials announced Monday evening that the 410 Pavement Winged Warriors Series' Children's Dream Fund Race Weekend has been cancelled.

The weekend, scheduled for October 2-3, was planned to take the pavement winged Sprint Car series to Five Flags Speedway and Montgomery Motor Speedway. Officials stated the race weekend was cancelled due to the significant travel costs facing participating race teams.

“This is incredibly disappointing for all of us, and we know it is for the teams, fans and everyone who was looking forward to the weekend,” said JJ Dutton, event founder. “We’re grateful to everyone who put time and effort into making this event happen and to everyone who planned to come out and support the Children’s Dream Fund.”

JJ Dutton and Statham Construction will donate to the Children’s Dream Fund to fully fund a child’s dream, in recognition of Five Flags Speedway, Montgomery Motor Speedway, and all of the drivers who had pre-registered for the weekend.

Despite the cancellation, Montgomery Motor Speedway is moving forward with its planned racing event on Saturday, October 3. The program will not include Sprint Cars or Legacy Cars, but will still feature Outlaw Late Models, Crown Stocks, and more action that will be announced shortly by the track.
