William Byron secured the Xfinity Fastest Lap Award for the NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday. Kaden Honeycutt earned the Fastest Lap Award for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series DQS Solutions & Staffing 250 Powered by Precision Vehicle Logistics.

Byron earned the Xfinity Fastest Lap Award in Sunday's Cup race with a lap of 37.300 seconds (193.029 mph) around the 2-mile Michigan International Speedway. That earned him his second Fastest Lap Award of the year, as he also claimed the honor at Darlington Raceway earlier this year.

Byron was in contention for the win late during the FireKeepers Casino 400, but pitted for fuel coming to the white flag and finished 28th. Denny Hamlin scored the victory in the event. The Daytona 500 winner still holds the points lead, with a 41-point advantage over teammate Kyle Larson in the championship standings.

Meanwhile, Kaden Honeycutt clocked in at 38.930 seconds (184.947 mph) for the Xfinity Fastest Lap award on lap 93 of Saturday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event. Honeycutt finished second in each of the first two stages on Saturday, but was forced to pit road after suffering damage in the late-race flurry of cautions, finishing 21st.

Honeycutt is now seventh in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series standings, with eight top-10 finishes in 13 races. Stewart Friesen picked up the win in Saturday's Truck Series event.

The NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series go to Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, Mexico this weekend. The Chilango 150 for the Xfinity Series takes the green flag at 4:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, June 14, with the Viva Mexico 250 takes place at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 15.
