- The 2022 NASCAR Cup season continues to give us amazing numbers with a sixth different winner in six different races after the ECHOPark Automotive Texas Grand Prix. Ross Chastain’s win also marked the third first-time winner this season and his fourth-straight top five finish. We also are almost positive he’s the first Cup winner to spike a watermelon on the front stretch.

- On the NASCAR Xfinity side A.J. Allmendinger went to victory lane for the seventh time in his career on a road course. After six races this year, Allmendinger has six top 10 finishes and is one point off the lead in the standings. Allmendinger won five times last season and he’s already got one under his belt early in 2022.

- Zane Smith earned his second win of the 2022 season after picking up the NASCAR Truck Series win at COTA on Saturday afternoon. Our stat of the week from the series is that six drivers have posted three top 10 runs in four races: Ben Rhodes, Stewart Friesen, Zane Smith, Tanner Gray, Ty Majeski and Chandler Smith.

- Bubba Pollard can give us some numbers anytime he wins a short track race. Pollard picked up his seventh career win at Watermelon Capital Speedway (GA). It was his second win in the Southern Super Series there, becoming the first repeat winner in the series there. His victory marked his 30th career points paying win in the series and he set fast time for the 32nd time in his career.

- Defending Southern Super Series champion Jake Garcia took home his fourth-straight top five finish at Watermelon Capital Speedway (GA). Jett Noland posted a career-best second and Daniel Dye tied a career best with a third-place finish.

- Chris Ferguson took home $50,000 at Bristol Motor Speedway (TN) during the Bristol Dirt Nationals. The Super Late Models will be back at Bristol this coming weekend with a pair of $50,000-to-win events on tap with a big rich point fund of $100,000 going to the winner provided at least three of the four races are completed.
- For the first time in his career in his 20th start ,Chad McCumbee is a CARS Tour Late Model Stock winner after getting the job done at Hickory Motor Speedway (NC). There have now been eight different winners in the last nine races dating back into 2021. Last year eight different drivers won in 13 races and we see the trend shifting more towards that again this year.

- George Gorham took home not one, but two wins over the weekend in the Twin Super Late Model events at Auburndale Speedway (FL). Gorham topped both fields in the 50-lap twin event.
- Justin South pocketed a Pro Late Model victory at Watermelon Capital Speedway (GA) as a part of the Southern Super Series weekend in Georgia. For South, it was his first win in a number of years and first at the Georgia track.
- Tanner Reif led all 153 laps from the pole to be victorious at Irwindale Speedway (CA) on Saturday in the ARCA West Series. This was only his second series start for the 16-year-old. We will see what else he can do out west.
