Starting Lineup: NASCAR Cup Series South Point 400 at Las Vegas

Denny Hamlin qualified on the pole for Sunday's South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, with NASCAR Cup Series Playoff competitors taking the first six spots in the starting lineup.

Hamlin, pursuing his first Cup Series championship in his career, earned his fourth pole position of the 2025 season with a time of 29.213 seconds. Two of his Joe Gibbs Racing teammates, Chase Briscoe and Christopher Bell, qualified second and third.

The Hendrick Motorsports trio of Chase Elliott, William Byron and Kyle Larson occupied the next three spots in the qualifying rundown, continuing the occupation of Round of 8 drivers in the starting lineup. Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick, eliminated from championship contention following the Bank of America ROVAL 400, qualified seventh and eighth.

Last year's South Point 400 winner, Joey Logano, qualified ninth, with Ty Gibbs rounding out the top 10. Ryan Blaney, the last of the eight drivers still alive in the title fight, qualified 14th.
