JTG Daugherty Racing and Ricky Stenhouse Jr., the driver of the team's No. 47 Kroger Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the NASCAR Cup Series, have had an incredible start to the 2023 season.

Stenhouse, 35, won the season-opening Daytona 500 to secure his place in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, and this past weekend at Talladega Superspeedway Stenhouse overcame a late-race crash to finish 15th in the GEICO 500.

The racer who hails from Olive Branch, Mississippi is feeling no pain, literally and figuratively, as his race car will feature co-primary sponsorship from Icy Hot PRO this weekend at Dover Motor Speedway.

“It’s nice to get a win early on in the season and have good speed consistently,” said Stenhouse Jr. “We are learning and getting better and some of that is having that win at Daytona (International Speedway). For me, it did a world of good for my confidence. It boosted it, and I feel confident getting in the race car. We’re looking forward to getting back to Dover with Kroger and Icy Hot.”

When you look at the statistics that Stenhouse has strung together over the opening 10 races of the 2023 season, you can actually see his confidence oozing by way of the numbers.

Overall, Stenhouse has scored six top 15 finishes in the opening 10 races and has just two finishes outside of the top 20. It's been a very consistent start to the year, and as a result, Stenhouse is on pace to surpass his career-best average finish (17.1 in 2017).

Stenhouse and the No. 47 team are certainly performing at their best in 2023, which makes them the perfect team for the Icy Hot PRO brand.

“By partnering with our Kroger Racing team, it’s an opportunity for Icy Hot PRO to be center stage with our loyal and passionate NASCAR fans,” said JTG Daugherty Racing co-owner Tad Geschickter. “We’re excited to spotlight this great brand and help consumers ‘rise from pain’ and perform at their best.”

Stenhouse and his No. 47 team will look to keep the momentum going this weekend at Dover in the Wurth 400.

The NASCAR Cup Series Wurth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway is scheduled for Sunday, April 30th, and will be televised on FS1 with coverage beginning at 2:00 PM ET. PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will provide the live radio broadcast of the event.
