Fresh off his first career YourBIGPlans.com 500 Sprint Car Tour victory, Jackson Macenko will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut on July 24 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
Team Reaume announced Tuesday that Macenko will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut with the team at Indianapolis Raceway Park. He will drive the team's No. 2 Ford F-150 at IRP.
“I’m incredibly grateful to Team Reaume for the opportunity to make my NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut,” said Macenko. “This is something I’ve worked toward for a long time. IRP is a special place for me, and to make my debut there means a lot. I’m focused on learning as much as I can and making the most of this opportunity.”
“We’re excited to have Jackson make his Truck Series debut with us at IRP,” said Team Reaume owner Josh Reaume. “It’s a strong opportunity for him, and we’re looking forward to working with him and seeing how he develops at this level.”
Macenko scored a breakthrough win at Winchester Speedway in the Tom Bigelow Showdown presented by Neal Metal Recycling and Processing on Sunday, taking the checkered flag ahead of Davey Hamilton, Jr. and Kody Swanson. He also qualified on the front row for the 78th Annual Unified Group Services Little 500 presented by ED Martin Automotive Group in May, one of the most prestigious events in pavement open-wheel racing.
Macenko finished fifth in the 500 Sprint Car Tour points standings each of the past two seasons. Following his win at Winchester, Macenko has 10 top five finishes and 23 top 10 finishes in 27 starts with the series. He also earned a top-five result with the USAC Silver Crown Series at World Wide Technology Raceway in 2025.
Macenko started his career in go-karts at Lawrenceburg Motorcycle Speedway before advancing to the USSA Kenyon Midget Series. He earned Rookie of the Year honors with the series in 2019, winning seven features in his USSA Kenyon Midget career.
Like many drivers with a background in pavement Sprint Car racing, IRP will be a familiar venue for Macenko in his Truck Series debut. Macenko has made three 500 Sprint Car Tour starts at the Brownsburg, Indiana facility, as well as two starts in the USAC Silver Crown Series Hoosier Hundred. He finished fifth with the 500 Sprint Car Tour at Indianapolis Raceway Park in 2024.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Race at IRP is scheduled for Friday, July 24 at 8 p.m. ET, on the weekend of the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. FS1, the NASCAR Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90 will offer live coverage of the Craftsman Truck Series event.
