Viking Motorsports is expanding its NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series program for the upcoming season, and they've done so with the acquisition of 26-year-old driver Anthony Alfredo.

Alfredo, who has driven for a wide variety of Chevrolet-backed teams throughout his short career in NASCAR's second-tier series, will pilot the No. 96 Chevrolet for the organization owned by Don Sackett, the CEO and Founder of long-time NASCAR sponsor SciAps.

"Expanding to a second full-time car is a major moment for our organization," said Sackett. "Anthony brings experience, professionalism, and a tremendous work ethic that aligns perfectly with where Viking Motorsports is heading."

Viking Motorsports has hired Joshua Graham, who previously worked with Alfredo at Our Motorsports in 2024, to serve as the shot-caller for the newly minted No. 96 Chevrolet, in hopes of kick-starting the brand-new team and securing some strong results from the get-go.

"I'm fired up to join Viking Motorsports and drive the No. 96 Chevrolet in 2026. Having the chance to work with Josh [Graham] again is something I'm really excited about -- we've had success together, and I know what we can accomplish as a team," said Anthony Alfredo. "You can see how much Viking is building and investing in its future. Being part of their expansion to a two-car program is a big opportunity, and I can't wait to get going."

Alfredo will be partnered with Parker Retzlaff, who was announced early in November as the driver of the team's flagship No. 99 Chevrolet for the 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series campaign. Both teams will have an enhanced technical alliance with Richard Childress Racing, whose driver Jesse Love, enters the new season as the defending champion of the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.

Viking Motorsports debuted during the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series (O'Reilly Auto Parts Series) campaign, when the team partnered with RSS Racing to field the No. 38 with Matt DiBenedetto and CJ McLaughlin behind the wheel. The following season, the team branched off on its own, fielding the No. 99, where DiBenedetto and Connor Mosack collectively scored one top-five and one top-10 at Talladega Superspeedway in April.

The organization will make additional announcements, including primary and associate partners for the No. 96 Chevrolet, in the weeks leading up to the season-opener at Daytona on February 14.
