Ruggiero, Renfrew Headline Opening Night Winners at New Smyrna

Coming off a winless season in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, Craig Lutz is starting this year off on a high note.
The 29-year-old captures his third career pole and will lead the field to green for the New Smyrna Beach Area Visitors Bureau 200. He powered the No. 46 Riverhead Building Supply car around the half-mile track with a lap time of 17.520 seconds.
Qualifying in the second position, with a lap time of 17.575, is the young gun, Austin Beers. Behind them is the 2023 series champion, Ron Silk and the championship runner-up, Justin Bonsignore with lap times of 17.545 and 17.669 respectively.
Partick Emerling, Ryan Preece, Tommy Catalano, Matt Hirschman, J.R. Bertuccio, and Ryan Newman round out the top-10.
