A total of 40 drivers are currently listed as expected entries for the event, bringing talent from across the country to Slinger, Wisconsin.

As always, a stout group of local competitors will be looking to defend home turf in the Slinger Nationals. Currently, R.J. Luke Fenhaus made history last year, becoming the youngest winner in Slinger Nationals history. If someone else is going to become a first-time winner of the event, they’ll have to beat a field that includes every Slinger Nationals winner since 2015.

Headlining that list is eight-time Slinger Nationals champion Matt Kenseth. The 2023 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee most recently won the event in 2019.

Other recent winners entered for this year’s Slinger Nationals include Dennis Prunty (2015), Bubba Pollard (2017) and Ty Majeski (2018, 2020).

There will be plenty of star power coming from all corners to take on Slinger’s best. Marquee names entered include NASCAR Cup Series competitor William Byron, former NASCAR Truck Series drivers Johnny Sauter and Derek Kraus, two-time Southern Super Series champion Stephen Nasse, six-time SRL Southwest Tour Series champion Derek Thorn and defending ARCA Menards Series East champion Sammy Smith.

Below is a full list of the 40 expected entries for this year’s Slinger Nationals.
