The autumn chill in the air and colors in the hills bring back the 47th running of the Fall Foliage 200 presented by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust on Saturday, September 13.
As the leaves start to turn up here in northern New England, the change brings yet another cornerstone event for the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour this Saturday night at White Mountain Motorsports Park. The autumn chill in the air and colors in the hills bring back the 47th running of the Fall Foliage 200 presented by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust on Saturday, September 13 with not only the iconic late season showdown but also the championship event for the popular Brookside Equipment Triple Crown!
The Fall Foliage 200 started as an end-of-season spectacular for the Northern NASCAR circuit of the 1970s at Milton, Vermont’s Catamount Stadium and over the years has adjusted from 200, 300 and 150 lap iterations at tracks like the deeply missed Catamount and Beech Ridge Motor Speedway along with Thunder Road, Airborne and, since 2021, White Mountain Motorsports Park. Since moving to the New Hampshire quarter-mile, longtime veterans Joey Polewarczyk and Patrick Laperle made popular returns to Fall Foliage victory lane while Jimmy Hebert and Gabe Brown have both had their first wins in the longstanding event.
Along with joining a winners filled with iconic drivers from across the Eastern United States and Canada, this weekend’s 200-lapper has extra significance on the line. For the first time ever the Brookside Equipment Triple Crown will wrap up at White Mountain Motorsports Park, a favorite track of the Roger McHugh-owned #5MA team with driver Tom Carey III. The Brookside Ride took its first ACT win at White Mountain back in 2022 in the Spring Green and they’re prepared to take another cornerstone event this Saturday.
Two-time Brookside Triple Crown champion D.J. Shaw holds a very slim one point lead over Derek Gluchacki en-route to his third crown. Gluchacki has been a perennial Brookside Triple Crown contender since its inception in 2022 while Jesse Switser and Raphael Lessard sit just ten and eleven points out, respectively.
Lessard is once again the big storyline at White Mountain Motorsports Park. The St-Joseph, Quebec-driver just won his fourth-consecutive Bacon Bowl 300 at Autodrome Chaudiere on Sunday but more than that, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour point leader has been unstoppable at WMMP in 2025. He stunned the crowd to take the Kancamagus 150 in June over D.J. Shaw and swept in for the Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 in August after leaders Switser and Kaiden Fisher fell out in the closing laps. The Closer is looking to fight to the very end again this Saturday for a clean sweep of Touring races at the New Hampshire bullring.
The growing entry list will also feature former three-time Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour champion Wayne Helliwell Jr. behind the wheel of the RSB Chassis machine, Maine stand-out Joey Dioron in the Gabe Brown Racing backup car, a slew of White Mountain track championship regulars led by Kasey Beattie, and all your favorite Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour teams including Gabe Brown, Erick Sands, Alexendre ‘Fireball’ Tardif, Jonathan Bouvrette and more!
The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returns to racing action at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, September 13 for the 47th Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Fall Foliage 200. With the season coming to a close, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour teams all look to topple Raphael Lessard on the New Hampshire highbanked, quarter-mile and join an all-star win list dating back to 1972! Post Time Saturday is 5:00pm with a spectacular five division line-up scheduled. Adult general admission is set at $30, kids 12-6 are $10 and children five and under are free. The Family Four Pack (two adults, two kids) is also available for $70.
