EDITOR'S NOTE: This story has been updated, following the Reveal The Hammer Outlaw Super Late Model Series announcement on Tuesday that its event originally scheduled for May 2 at Berlin Raceway is officially cancelled.
The Reveal The Hammer Outlaw Late Model Series Opener-Tribute to Harley Boeve at Berlin Raceway, originally scheduled for May 2, has been cancelled. Series officials shared the update on Tuesday afternoon.
Berlin Raceway officials originally canceled their program for Saturday, May 2, which included the season-opening event for Reveal The Hammer. The decision came due to cold and windy conditions forecasted for Saturday afternoon and evening at the Michigan facility and throughout the region.
Reveal The Hammer series officials hoped to reschedule their feature event as part of Berlin's May 2 program. However, no makeup date suitable for both parties could be reached, and the event is now officially cancelled.
The 61-lap Reveal The Hammer opener was expected to draw more than 30 cars to Berlin Raceway to kick off the 2026 season. Two more visits to Berlin Raceway remain on the Reveal The Hammer schedule. The Spirit of 76 is scheduled for Saturday, July 5, while the 2026 Season Championships event is scheduled for Saturday, September 12.
The next event currently scheduled for the Reveal The Hammer Outlaw Late Models is Saturday, May 30 at Kinross Raceway Park. The Yooper 100 will now be the season-opening event for the tour on the 1/4-mile facility. It will be the first-ever appearance for the series at Kinross, and the first OUtlaw Super Late Model event at the track in nearly two decades.
