Racing America to Broadcast Ward Burton's Racing Return in Rogers Heating & Cooling Orange Krush 200 at Orange County

Racing America will broadcast the Rogers Heating & Cooling Orange Krush 200 from Orange County Speedway on Thursday, March 28, with a star-studded lineup headlined by 2002 Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton.

Racing America will broadcast the Rogers Heating & Cooling Orange Krush 200 from Orange County Speedway on Thursday, March 28, with a star-studded lineup planned for the invitational event headlined by 2002 Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton.

Racing America will offer a pay-per-view broadcast of the event from the historic 3/8-mile oval in Rougemont, North Carolina. In addition to the ticket sale proceeds, a portion of the pay-per-view proceeds will benefit The Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation to further their conservation and outreach efforts. The Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation (WBWF) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that was founded in 1996 to promote the sustainability of natural resources through conservation, land management, outdoor outreach and educational practices.

The invitational Late Model Stock Car event already boasts some big names on the entry list. Ward Burton, NASCAR Xfinity Series competitor Jeb Burton, NASCAR Cup Series race winner Jeremy Mayfield, two-time NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series National Champion Peyton Sellers, 2016 CARS Tour Late Model Stock champion Deac McCaskill and 2023 Old North State Nationals winner Landon Huffman are among the announced names for the event. Additional entries will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Thursday night show leading into the NASCAR weekend at Richmond Raceway just a couple hours north of Rougemont is offering $15,000 to the winner of the 200-lap race. Ward Burton won a race in what is now known as the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Orange County in 1993.
