The Redbud race. A timeless tradition at Anderson Speedway that has taken place every summer since 1967. From local heroes to national stars, some of the biggest names in all of motorsports have tackled the high banking of Anderson Speedway in hopes of being crowned the winner of the Redbud. The 57th annual edition of the Redbud 400 will see the return of two cornerstone pieces to the history of this great summer tradition: the Greg Hubler Automotive Group, and the American Speed Association (ASA)
The Greg Hubler Automotive Group has been a staple in their community for many years with locations in Muncie, Indiana as well as Marion, Indiana and Mooresville, Indiana. They now look to become a staple at Anderson Speedway as they continue to show their support for Anderson’s local race track, and for the Redbud 400 itself. For the third consecutive year, the race will be known as the Greg Hubler Automotive Group Redbud 400. As the race continues to grow and adapt to modern Super Late Model racing, Greg Hubler Automotive Group has committed to be a part of that growth and to see the race return to its once prestigious status in short track racing.
“This growing event is a prime opportunity to bring our loyal customers, vendors, and team members together for another night packed full of action,” Said Greg Hubler – President of Greg Hubler Automotive Group. “For decades the Hubler Family has been a part of the racing community, and we are thrilled to once again be part of this amazing event and the future stars of NASCAR!”
Known as the birthplace of the American Speed Association, Anderson Speedway and the Redbud 400 played a vital role in seeing local race car drivers become national stars and hall of fame competitors. For the first time since 2000, the Redbud 400 will once again be sanctioned by ASA as the series has been reinvented into the ASA Stars National Tour. The new series aims to bring back the days of old as drivers look to take the next steps in their development. The resurgence of a national super late model touring series has been met with great excitement and a hint of nostalgia. For the second time in as many years, the Greg Hubler Automotive Group Redbud 400 will once again play host to the ASA Racers Reunion. Drivers and crew members alike will return to Anderson Speedway to share stories of the old ASA as they celebrate the resurgence of the new ASA.
Anderson Speedway officials are pleased to announce the release of the new logo for the 57th Annual Greg Hubler Automotive Group Redbud 400. The race, which has not seen a logo redesign in recent years, will feature a new logo that embodies the race’s history and future. The logo features the Greg Hubler Automotive Group brand in a way that shows their diversity in the automotive industry, and incorporates the American Speed Association for the first time in over 20 years.
The 57th Annual Greg Hubler Automotive Group Redbud 400 will be Saturday, July 15th at 7:30pm. An open practice will be held on Friday, July 14th for drivers to make adjustments before a one day show that includes a final practice, qualifying, and the 400-lap race. Ticket information for the event will be released at a later date.
