One of the more intriguing championship fights is in the track’s premier division, the Super Late Models. Scott McDaniel has a 57-point advantage over Kate Re, who is seeking to become the first female champion in the Super Late Model division. Both McDaniel and Re will be seeking their first Super Late Model championships, but a big field is expected as other drivers look to prepare for the possibility of winning $100,000 in the PASS 400 coming up October 19.
Joe Brill has 48-point lead over PJ Merrill in the Dow Excavating Limited division standings. If Brill hangs on it will be his first championship at Oxford Plains since winning one 25 years ago.

The Spaulding Roofing Street Stock division has one of the best fights for the title with three drivers within striking distance of one another. Rick Spaulding, Jordan Russell and Billy Childs are only separated by 12 points heading into Sunday’s showdown. Another close battle is in the Green’s Lawn Solutions Mad Bombers with Tyler Connolly only nine points ahead of Brandon Caron. Thomas Brackett still has an outside shot at the title if Connolly and Caron encounter issues on the day.
In the KHM Thunder Stocks, Thomas Richards leads the fight by just 15-points over Dustin Salley. In fact, the top five drivers in the standings are only separated by a total of 50 points. In the 207 Flight School Runnin’ Rebels, Cody Childs has a 52-point advantage over Gunnar Josselyn as he looks to capture his second straight title.
