It was high-drama in qualifying for Thursday night's zMAX CARS Tour Pro Late Model The Reverend Whiskey 75 at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Full-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competitor Kaden Honeycutt went out late in the session and bumped Keelan Harvick from the provisional pole with a lap time of 17.646 seconds.

The lap was good enough to hold on for Honeycutt, who took the pole position for Thursday night's 75-lap event.

Honeycutt says he's piloting a brand new FURY Race car for this race, and his team has set it up perfectly, which resulted in the pole-winning run.

"Well, we didn't get to bring back the same car we raced here last year, but thanks to FURY and Darius and everybody at FURY Race Cars for the great car," Honeycutt said after earning the pole position. "Man, my guys have done a great job."

Dawson Sutton, another full-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competitor, will start alongside Honeycutt on the front row of Thursday night's race as he clocked in just off of Honeycutt's fast lap time. Sutton turned a lap time of 17.669 seconds to secure the runner-up starting spot.

Luke Baldwin incredibly had a chance to take a qualifying lap after his Rick Ware Racing team thrashed in the garage after the No. 51 machine suffered mechanical issues in practice earlier in the afternoon.

Baldwin rewarded his team by securing the third position on his first lap of qualifying. However, on his second qualifying lap, Baldwin pounded the outside wall, which will force his team into another thrash session in the garage.

Harvick, the son of NASCAR Cup Series legend Kevin Harvick, held the provisional pole for the majority of the session, but was surpassed late and ended up fourth in the qualifying session.

Harvick was followed by Conner Jones, who is pulling quadruple duty this weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway, Spencer Davis, Josh Berry, Ben Maier, Tristan McKee, and Isaac Kitzmiller.
