Justin Mondeik Back in El Bandido Yankee Tequila Race Car for Oktoberfest Weekend

Midwest Super Late Model standout Justin Mondeik will team up with El Bandido Yankee Tequila for the 56th Annual Oktoberfest race weekend at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway.

Following the recent announcement of El Bandido Yankee Tequila’s involvement as the Official Tequila of Oktoberfest, Chief Financial Officer Eric Lanz has decided to be part of the on track activities to further elevate the brand through an on-track presence.

Eric Lanz, CFO, El Bandido Yankee Tequila stated, “Having a car on the track for Oktoberfest was a clear choice to elevate our brand during the event. Mondeik’s proven track record and familiarity with our program make this a natural pairing as we bring our Official Oktoberfest Tequila status to life on the track.”

Mondeik, who has previously served as a primary El Bandido driver in select NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and Superlate model starts, returns to pilot the El Bandido Yankee Tequila car for Oktoberfest weekend, continuing a successful partnership that began long before this season.

Mondeik stated “ I am excited to return to the El Bandido family and compete at Oktoberfest. It’s a high-profile weekend with a lot of history, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent El Bandido Yankee Tequila on the track.”

As part of the partnership, El Bandido Yankee Tequila shots, margaritas and palomas will be available for purchase at the nightly After-Race Parties in the Expo Hall, as well as in the Turn One Mobile Bar throughout all four days of racing. Fans can also look forward to El Bandido Yankee activations across the weekend, including product sampling, giveaways, and a vibrant branded presence.

The 56th Annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend will run October 2–5, 2025, at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway in West Salem, Wisconsin. Known as the Midwest’s premier short track racing special, Oktoberfest features four days of racing across multiple divisions, special events, and fan-favorite traditions that bring thousands of race fans together every fall.
