Nashville’s own Jackson Boone is set to make his highly anticipated return to one of short track racing’s crown jewel events — the All American 400 weekend — as he climbs behind the wheel of the FatHead Racing No. 7 Pro Late Model in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Pro Late Model 100 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.

For Boone, this weekend marks not only another chance to compete on one of the most historic tracks in America, but also a continuation of an inspiring comeback story that’s seen him rise from injury, rediscover his passion, and return to victory lane.

Just a few weeks ago, Boone captured a thrilling win at the Fairgrounds, showing the same poise and speed that made him a standout name in Pro Late Model racing. That victory, he says, was a moment of gratitude more than anything else.

“All the glory to God,” Boone said. “After stepping out of the seat a couple of years ago following a really bad wreck in Pensacola, I wasn’t sure what the future looked like for me. It was a tough time — physically and mentally — but I’ve been blessed to have incredible people around me who encouraged me to take my time and do it right”. Boone continues “to be able to come back, race again, and win — it means more to me now than it ever did before.”

Boone’s recovery and renewed focus have been evident since reuniting with FatHead Racing, where he’s continued to grow as both a competitor and leader within the team.

“I’ve had great success with FHR,” Boone said. “It truly feels like being home with these guys. Jamie [Yelton] runs such a strong, structured program, and they’re hard on me — but in the best way. They hold me accountable, and I hold them accountable too. That trust and communication are what make this team special.”

The All American 400 weekend is one of the most prestigious events in grassroots racing, attracting the best Late Model drivers in the country for a three-day competition. The JEGS/CRA Pro Late Model 100, which Boone will compete in, serves as one of the premier races to Sunday’s Super Late Model 400-lap finale — a stage that has historically propelled emerging stars toward national prominence.

FatHead Racing team owner Jamie Yelton is confident Boone will once again be a contender.

“Jackson’s a shoe — he can flat-out drive,” said Yelton. “He’s one of those natural racers with raw talent and great instincts. We’re always excited to have him in our stuff because we know what he’s capable of. He’s been through a lot, and to see him come back with this kind of drive and focus is inspiring. He’ll always have a home at FatHead Racing.”

Boone emphasized the importance of his support system and sponsors in making this return possible.

“I’m so fortunate to have great sponsors and partners behind me,” Boone said. “Without them, none of this happens. Racing at this level takes an incredible amount of resources, and the fact that these companies and people continue to believe in me means the world. I want to represent them well every time I hit the track.”

With momentum on his side, Boone heads into the weekend focused yet grounded — a reflection of his maturity and perspective after years of highs and setbacks. Boone has made a handful of starts over the past year, often finding himself in contention and posting strong finishes, but it wasn’t until a few weeks ago that he finally broke through for a well-earned victory.

“Coming off the win at Nashville gives us a lot of confidence,” Boone added. “We’ve got speed, we’ve got chemistry, and we’ve got faith in each other. If we execute the way I know we can, we’ll be in the mix when it counts.”

With a rejuvenated mindset, a race winning team, and the backing of loyal supporters, Jackson Boone is ready to write the next chapter of his comeback story under the bright lights of Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.

“I’m just looking forward to getting back in the car and resetting,” Boone explained. “Getting back to the reason I love racing — the competition, the adrenaline, and the joy of it. I want to feel like that little kid who started racing quarter midgets again — just thankful to be doing what I love.”

As Jackson prepares to take on the JEGS/CRA Pro Late Model 100 during the All American 400 weekend, he’ll do so with the continued support of a loyal group of partners and several exciting new sponsors joining the effort.

Boone’s longtime supporters — WARE, Victory Energy, ATP, Music City Home and Commercial Improvements, and Roy Meat Service — have been instrumental in his racing journey, helping fuel his success on and off the track. He also welcomes several new and returning partners who have recently joined the team. Joslin & Son Sign came aboard for the previous race and returns to back Boone again this weekend, while Farm Maintenance continues its support following its debut earlier this season. New to the roster for the All-American weekend are DRB Homes and New American Funding, both lending their backing for the first time.

The All American 400 weekend kicks off Friday with practice, followed by Saturday’s qualifying session and JEGS/CRA Pro Late Model 100, and culminates Sunday with the 40th running of the All American 400 Super Late Model event. Fans can expect intense competition, star-studded fields, and some of the best short-track racing action of the year.

Fans can follow Jackson Boone and FatHead Racing throughout the weekend for updates, photos, and race results on the team’s official Facebook page.
