After eight previous attempts and several close calls, Garrett Hall is finally a Boss Hogg 150 winner.

Hall won the Labor Day showcase at Wiscasset Speedway on Sunday in convincing fashion, leading the final 97 laps of the race for the victory.

Hall has established himself as one of the front runners in the Northeast, with seven career Pro All Stars Series wins and two Granite State Pro Stock Series victories in his career. In eight prior Boss Hogg 150 starts, he tallied three top-fives and six top-10s.

Hall had also finished on the podium in each of the last two Boss Hogg 150s, including a runner-up finish one year ago. Along with a pair of runner-up finishes, he was disqualified after crossing the line first in the event in 2017 and spun from the lead in 2019 after contact late in the race with Ben Ashline.

After so many close calls and near-misses, Hall would not be denied on Sunday.

"We had a great car today. I can't thank everybody on the crew enough for making all the right calls on this car. Obviously, I'm very grateful for all the help I had today."

Jamie Wright finished second, also earning his best career finish in the event. Wright acknowledged he did not have the car to challenge Hall, but was happy to score a runner-up finish, his first top-five in the race since 2022.

"I didn't have anything for Garrett. He deserves it so much, being so close to winning this race. It's good to finally see him win it.

"I've got to thank all my friends and family, they've really helped me so, so much this summer and all the years before that. It's really good to see a race finally come together and have the car all in one piece at the end of the race, that's a really good improvement."

While Hall and Wright distanced themselves, Josh St. Clair battled with J.R. Robinson for the third spot. Ultimately, St. Clair claimed the spot in the final running order, closing out the day on the podium after leading in the opening laps.

"I thought I had a pretty good car. The first 10 laps, we slowed down half a second or more," said St. Clair. "I slowed the pace way down and everyone was following, so I was hoping for a good long run there, knock some laps off. I'm real bad at saving my stuff. Nick, my spotter, was doing a good job of telling me, you've still got 140 more to go bud, keep the tires on it, calm down.

"We tried hard to back up and let some guys go. At the end, we lost the front and got too tight. Garrett deserves it. He's been here a lot and battled for wins and come out on the wrong end, so I'm glad to see he got this one. Jamie's always good to race with, glad to see him up here, another Distance car.

"Me and JR have been good buddies for a long time. We raced Streeters back in the early 2000s all over the place. We've been good friends right along. We made the travels to Spud together and all that stuff in the early 2000s. That was a good battle with him. I don't think a took a breath for 20 laps."

Robinson finished fourth, with Logan Melcher rounding out the top five.
