The entry list for Saturday's Cohen Law Group World Crown 300 has been unveiled, featuring top Super Late Model competitors prepared to battle for a prestigious spot on the list of winners in the historic event.
The World Crown 300 returned at Cordele Motor Speedway, bringing back one of the most prestigious and historic events in Super Late Model racing in the Southeast. A field of 22 cars is currently entered for this year's edition of the race, paying a minimum of $35,000 to the winner.
While Saturday's race is a non-points event for the ASA Southern Super Series, many of the tour's top drivers are taking part in the event. Bubba Pollard, Matthew Craig, Gavan Boschele, Colby Howard and Stephen Nasse are among the drivers near the top of the Southern Super Series points entered for this year's World Crown 300.
Pollard is always a driver to watch at Cordele. He has won the last four editions of Cordele's SpeedFest event held each January, as well as two of three "Super Fest" races for Super Late Models during the 2025 season at the Georgia track.
Drivers such as Pollard who have taken part in Super Fest are in line for an especially lucrative weekend. Bonus money will be awarded to World Crown 300 finishers based on the number of Super Fest starts made in 2025, at minimum $500 per Super Fest start. For the World Crown 300 winner, an extra $3,750 will be awarded for each Super Fest appearance, adding more than $10,000 to the $35,000 winner's prize if a driver has made every Super Fest start.
Drivers who have perfect Super Fest attendance and are entered for Saturday's race include Pollard, Nasse, Super Fest points leader Jake Finch, Colin Allman, Johnny Sauter, Hudson Bulger, Jett Noland, Michael Atwell and Daniel Webster.
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competitor Jake Garcia won the most recent Super Late Model event at Cordele, the Georgia Summer Nationals 125 one month ago. He'll be seeking another Cordele victory in his home state of Georgia this weekend.
The full entry list for the race can be viewed below.
Michael Hinde won in the return of the World Crown 300 one year ago. The event had been on hiatus for a decade following the closure of Gresham Motorsports Park in 2014. Past World Crown winners include the likes of Dick Trickle, Darrell Waltrip and Chase Elliott.
