Evagoras Papasavvas to Start on Pole at NJMP

Edward Kennedy topped the qualifying charts at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) on Saturday morning, taking the pole in Ligier Junior Formula Championship’s (Ligier JFC) Gen. 2 Class. Setting a fast time of 1:20.012, Kennedy (No. 30 MLT Motorsports Ligier JS F422) was just 0.486 seconds ahead of Beckham Jacir (No. 7 Stonica / Bell / OMP / P1DOKS / Behind the Wheel / Champagne Racing Ligier JS F4), who locked in the pole position for the Ligier JFC Gen. 1 Class.
In the Gen. 2 Class, points leader Jack Speth (No. 07 Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F422) qualified second and will line up next to Kennedy when the lights go out.
Lazaro Bainotti (No. 11 Fundacion Fangio Rus seguros Cordoba deportes / Speed Factory Ligier JS F4) was second quick in the Gen. 1 Class and will be wheel to wheel with his championship rival, Jacir, when Race 1 goes green this afternoon.
