June 18 PASS Modifieds Race Joins Weston Automotive Challenge

Naples Me. - Officials with the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) have announced the newly added PASS MODS race at White Mountain Motorsports Park will be a part of the Weston Automotive PASS MODS Challenge Series which debuted at Thunder Road in May. PASS officials have also announced that an anonymous donor has contacted the offices in Naples to add $100 “tow money” to any PASS MODS driver taking the green flag at Spud in the early July 50 lap tilt in Aroostook.
The Weston Automotive PASS MODS Challenge contested at the races at White Mountain Motorsports and Thunder Road pays the winner $1000 and adds purse throughout the field. Weston Automotive also awards trophies to the top 3 points earning drivers within the series.

PASS officials also received a message early in May that a donor wanted to help the PASS MODS teams make the trip to Spud Speedway. “We just wanted to help out a little,” they said. “With fuel costs still high, and many of the PASS MODS teams on a budget, we wanted to do something to help the teams get there and back. Hopefully it will help inspire a few extra teams to make the drive and put on a show.”
PASS President Tom Mayberry said, “We are starting to see a lot of interest in this division again from both racers and sponsors. We are hoping to keep this momentum going and really build the series into a great stepping stone for younger drivers, or a good place for a veteran driver to continue competing in the later years of a career.”
