Officials with Champion Racing Association and Owosso Speedway have released the Digital Entry Form for the upcoming Big O Classic 100 on Saturday, May 25th at Owosso Speedway. The third points-paying race of the 2024 season features a $10,000 payday to the winner, $1,000 to start, the only official tune-up event for the $15,000 to win Masters of the Pros 185, and a potential for other cash bonuses. The first of three trips to Owosso Speedway this season for the JEGS Tour totes plenty of anticipation for the unofficial kickoff to summer.

Entry Form

Nestled squarely in the Memorial Day Weekend, the Big O Classic 100 is the original JEGS Tour event at Owosso Speedway. Last season, Kyle Crump returned to his home track and dominated the 100 lap race. Taking the lead on lap four from two-time JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Champion and local favorite, Dan Leeck, Crump was virtually untouchable even through six caution flags. He took the win by over two seconds at the end, becoming the first repeat winner at Owosso Speedway in JEGS Tour history thanks to his previous win in 2017.

The stakes are higher than ever for this edition of the Big O Classic 100. A $10,000 payday to the winner and $1,000 to start in the 30-car field for the 100-lap contest puts the overall purse at nearly $50,000 for the single-day event. Plus, drivers who race on May 25th in the Big O Classic 100 put themselves in contention for extra money in the next two Owosso Speedway events.

By competing in the Big O Classic 100, any driver who returns to race in the $15K to win Masters of the Pros 185 on Saturday, August 3rd will receive an automatic $200 bonus, regardless of finish in the event. Then, drivers who raced in the Big O Classic 100 and the Masters of the Pros 185 will receive another $200 bonus when they race in the iconic Owosso Nationals in September.

The other bonus on the line is for CRA Licenced drivers who raced at both Berlin Raceway on April 27th and Anderson Speedway on May 4th. Those drivers are eligible for bonus money as part of the CRA Winner Circle Bonus Program. The highest finishing eligible driver will receive a $500 bonus, second through fifth get a $250 bump, and sixth through 10th adds an extra $100 to their payday.

The Big O Classic 100 is Saturday, May 25th at Owosso Speedway for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance. Pre-Race Ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM ET with racing to follow. Fans can get advanced tickets online at OwossoSpeedway.com. For those who can’t attend in person, the Big O Classic 100 will be available for subscribers on TrackTv.com and RacingAmerica.Tv.
