Must See Racing Changes Hands
Mar 25, 2026
Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway is proud to announce a new partnership with LiUNA Local 386 as an official sponsor for the 2026 racing season. The collaboration brings together one of Nashville’s most enduring sporting traditions and the working men and women who help build Middle Tennessee every day.
As the Speedway celebrates 122 years of auto racing, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to the Nashville community, skilled craftsmanship, and the kind of hard work that has always defined this track.
“We are thrilled to welcome LiUNA Local 386 to the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway family. Racing is built on hard work, precision, and community — values that Local 386 lives every day. Their support helps us continue to provide great short-track racing to the fans who make this city great.” — Bob Sargent, Promoter, Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway
Fans will see the LiUNA Local 386 presence throughout the facility beginning with Opening Night on Saturday, March 28. The partnership includes prominent trackside signage, promotional nights, and engagement opportunities for union members and their families.
“The Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway has been part of this community for generations, and so have our members. Many of them grew up coming to this track with their families. They have raced here, worked here, and made memories here. For working Nashvillians, this place has always been accessible and affordable — something you do not have to be wealthy to be part of. That is worth supporting, and we are proud to stand behind it.” — Ethan Link, Business Manager, LiUNA Local 386
The 2026 season features a packed schedule of seven national touring series and elite local divisions, including LiUNA-sponsored driver Clint Ivey of Ivey Racing. Tickets for Opening Night and all season events are available now at nashvillefairgroundsspeedway.racing.
