Renowned Road Racer Scott Pruett to Serve As the Grand Marshal For Trans Am At Sonoma

Scott Pruett, a legendary name in the road racing world, will serve as the Grand Marshal at Sonoma Raceway for the Trans Am presented by Pirelli race weekend.

Pruett, a member of the inaugural class of the Trans Am Hall of Fame in 2025, is a three-time champion of the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli (1987, 1994, and 2003) and has amassed 22 victories over his illustrious career in Trans Am competition.

Among Pruett's many wins in the Trans Am ranks were triumphs at Sonoma Raceway in 1987 and 2003.

In addition to his success in Trans Am, the California native scored five wins in the 24 Hours of Daytona, was the 2014 winner of the 12 Hours of Sebring, and he made a total of 40 starts in the NASCAR Cup Series, where he had a career-best finish of second at Watkins Glen International in 2003.

This weekend, Sonoma Raceway will serve as host to a pair of Trans Am presented by Pirelli races and a pair of CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series events.

The opening Trans Am presented by Pirelli event of the weekend is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, at 12:45 PM ET. The second Trans Am presented by Pirelli race will take place on Sunday, April 26, at 1:45 PM ET.

The CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series events will take place on Saturday, April 25, at 4:30 PM ET, and on Sunday, April 26, at 5:10 PM ET.

All of the TA Class and CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series events will be broadcast for FREE on RacingAmerica.TV, Racing America 24/7, and the official Trans Am Series YouTube Channel. The Racing America 24/7 Streaming Channel is available on The Roku Channel, Prime Video, My Free DirecTV, LG Channels, and PLEX.
