This Saturday and Sunday, top Street Stock racers from across the country will head south to Dillon Motor Speedway to compete in the 12th Annual New Year's Bash at Dillon. Between the large roster, the non-stop on-track action and a chance to watch racing during January, it's a can't-miss event for racing fans.
While we encourage everyone to make the trip to Dillon Motor Speedway to witness this event firsthand, those unable to head to South Carolina this weekend will be able to watch live on Racing America.
The New Year's Bash Street Stock Nationals pays $2,500 to the winner of the 100-lap main event. With a strong purse for Street Stock racers, the event traditionally draws a massive field of competitors, featuring both local Street Stock heroes and grassroots racers from around the country itching to get on track and escape the cold. Last year, 55 cars entered the New Year's Bash.
A new format for the event offers two exciting days of racing. Saturday's racing features UCARs, Challengers and Bangers. Last year's AR Challenger 50-lap feature proved to be one of the most thrilling races of the weekend, with Ross "Boo Boo" Dalton taking the win.
Sunday's racing will feature the Carolina Mini Stock Challenge Series, Legends Cars and the Street Stock Nationals. Sunday's card will begin with the Street Stock B-Main, which will complete the field for the 100-lap main event and also pays $500 to the winner.
Fans can tune into the action all weekend long on Racing America if they are unable to attend the New Year's Bash in person. Click the link below to order your pay-per-view video ticket for the New Year's Bash.
